Features & Benefits

Submission Clearance

This process was designed to log all quote/order submissions into the system. It will provide a status of all business being submitted with a free-form description of the risk along with the status of whether the risk is bound, declined, or pending. The insured name, dba name, and street address are indexed to provide a cross-reference to duplicate submissions. A unique control number is assigned to each submission.

This process was designed to issue generic laser printed quotations. The submission information is called forward via the submission control number. Multiple quotes may be generated without re-keying information. The ability to fax or e-mail the quote directly from the underwriter’s workstation is available. For those companies with in-house financing, a finance agreement can automatically be sent along with the quote.

Cash Application Log

This process was designed to record new and renewal business down payments on the same day they are received. The cash can then be deposited into the bank before the policy or binder is issued. In effect, the log suspends the cash in a controlled manner. The cash does not move to the accounts receivable until the policy or binder is invoiced. It also produces a register with the date the cash was suspended. This register allows you to identify items you have cash on but have not yet issued.

This process was designed to issue generic laser printed binders. Additionally, all binders can automatically cause an invoice to be issued.

Policy Issuance (optional)

This process was designed to provide policy issuance capabilities (no rating) for companies using the standard ISO declaration pages and attachments. Currently, the system produces general liability, property, inland marine, crime, commercial auto, garage liability, motor truck cargo, professional liability, business owners package, farm owners, excess liability, liquor liability, workers comp and Lloyd’s certificates. The system also produces laser printed schedules, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, reinstatements, and certificates of insurance. All monetary transactions will automatically cause an invoice to be issued.

This process was designed to issue invoices if the binder or policy issuance process is not used. Additionally, all business processed through any of ITC’s rating and policy issuance systems will interface with the invoicing process.
